GENERAL

How is CancerCare Manitoba different from other cancer charities?

CancerCare Manitoba Foundation is a provincial organization whose sole purpose is to raise funds that support cancer research and enhancements to patient care at CancerCare Manitoba, including its many community sites. We are one of the largest funders of cancer research in this province and the only charity exclusively raising funds for CancerCare Manitoba. While other cancer foundations may target specific cancers, we support Manitobans with any type of cancer or blood disorder. We enable donors to make contributions to leading-edge research that has a direct impact on improvements to cancer care for patients across the province as well as some Northern communities. All monies raised stay in Manitoba.

How can I update my contact information and communication preferences?

Why should I give monthly?

Monthly giving has a “multiplier effect”. Not only do your gifts support important local research, but they also help support our robust research institute attached to CancerCare Manitoba. The institute helps CancerCare Manitoba to develop and evaluate new processes for diagnosing, treating and preventing cancer in Manitoba, ultimately improving patient outcomes compared to cancer care facilities without research facilities. Research institutes also help Manitoba attract and retain a talented group of doctors and researchers from across Canada and the world.

Who can I contact to change my monthly donation?
