Thank you for helping to raise funds for Pediatric Cancer Research in Manitoba.
Like many Manitobans, our lives have been touched by a cancer diagnosis for someone we love. This summer our worlds were seriously rocked when our dear friend’s son was diagnosed with brain cancer. This seemingly rare disease suddenly became starkly real to us.
Childhood cancer is the most common disease related cause of death in Canadian children.
And yet…
Childhood cancer is consistently underfunded, accounting for only 5% of all cancer research funding in Canada today.
Manitoba sees approximately 55 new children with cancer every year. The dedication of an entire team of health care and allied health care workers ensures that Manitoba children can stay in the province while receiving the most up-to-date and innovative therapies available.
On February 24th we will be walking 30,000 steps (indoors and out, weather depending!). Will you help us reach our goal of raising $600 for pediatric cancer research with CancerCare Manitoba by donating $30?
Through your generous donations we can make a difference!
